Dental Staff

Dr. Amarilis Jacobo is associated with the American Dental Association. She earned her dental training at the University of Central East, San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic, with post-graduate training from New York University College of Dentistry. She was an attending at Lutheran Hospital.

Dr. Jacobo has over 27 years of vast experience in her private practice in dentistry care. Dr. Jacobo untiringly commits to serving, teaching, and being a continued role model to young Dentists of all nationalities. As a native Spanish, Dr. Amarilis Jacobo enjoys taking care of people from diverse cultural backgrounds. During her free time, she loves being with family, jogging, and dancing.

Dr. Jason Ma received his bachelor’s degree in Physiological Science from the University of California. He continued his studies at New York University College of Dentistry and ranked 2nd Quintile in his class. Dr. Ma completed his general practice residency at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York.

It was tremendously rewarding for him to treat a wide range of patients from children to seniors in Harlem, offering them dental education as well as comprehensive care.  Dr. Ma is a warm-hearted, compassionate dentist whose top priority is his patient’s satisfaction. By treating every patient like they are his parents or family members, he strives to render personalized and quality dental care in the gentlest way possible.  His proficiency is enhanced by communicating in Spanish helping to bridge connections to the patients. He enjoys spending his personal time with family and friends.

Candice Superville-Drakes is a graduate of New York City College of Technology dental hygiene program. Candice has worked in various dental practices and has continued to further her experience at Dr. Amarlis Jacobo Dental office. She is compassionate and able to put her patients of all ages at ease with ensuring them with a positive experience. Her mission is to educate on good oral care. Candice loves her career as dental hygienist and considers all her patients as family. In her spare time, she loves tennis, book reading, and going to the Bronx to take in a Yankee baseball game.
